Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Sandra Hewitt, age 68 years of Boyd’s Cove, NL announce her peaceful passing after a long battle of cancer with her family by her side on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the Notre Dame Bay Memorial Health Centre, Twillingate, NL.
She is predeceased by her father Kenneth Payne, sister Florence Reid, brother Gerald Payne, parents-in-law Stanley & Olive Hewitt and step-mother-in-law Maggie Hewitt.
Left with fond and loving memories are her husband David, children Leon (Cindy), Trina (Paul), Krista (Aaron), grandchildren Taylor, Bradley, Erica, Jessica, Dylan, Joshua, great-grandchildren Carter & Claire, mother Bertha Payne, siblings Greta (Curtis), Trudy, Guy (Ruth), Darin (Janet), brother-in-law Reg Reid, sister-in-law Doreen (Woodrow), extended family Mary Payne, Pam Saunders, home care workers Debbie Young & Thelma Wheeler as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Donations in Sandra’s memory may be given to her family.
Sandra’s family would like to thank all the doctors, nurses and medical staff that cared for her during her lengthy illness.
