June’s Obituary
Currie, June Marlene – Age 85, of Tatamagouche, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 13, 2020, in the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital. Born in Tatamagouche, June was the daughter of the late Gordon and Eva V. (Crossman) Currie. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. June was predeceased by sisters, Lillian, Marion, Dorothy, Mildred, Phyllis, Jean and Mona and brothers, Stanley, Ted, Lionel, George, Robert “Bob” and Gavin. June will be missed by her many nieces and nephews, as well as her cats, Toby and Sam. Cremation has taken place under the direction of Coulter’s Funeral Home, Tatamagouche. No visitation to be held. A family Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. June’s family would like to thank the doctors and staff of the Lillian Fraser Memorial Hospital as well as the VON and Home Care workers and neighbour, Lorraine Joudrie, for their special care of June over the past years. Memorial donations, if one chooses, may be made to the Lillian Fraser Memorial Auxiliary or the Colchester SPCA.
