Evelyn’s Obituary
BOURQUE, Evelyn Marie – age 67, Lake Charles, Louisiana, formerly of Hubbard’s Point, Yarmouth Co., passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital with her husband by her side. Born in Yarmouth on November 5, 1952, Evelyn was the daughter of the late Harry and Frances (LeBlanc) Doucette. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Warren; sons, Aaron, Hubbard’s Point and Trevor, Lake Charles, Louisiana; brothers, Raymond (Pearl), Clarence (Virginia), Neil (Cindy), all of Tusket; Richard (Gail), Hubbard’s Point; sisters, Shirley (Gilbert) Deveau, Salmon River; Norma (Augustin) d’Entremont, West Pubnico and Diane (David) Muise, Eel Brook. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by brothers, Tommy, Ivan, Henry and by sisters Joan and June. Evelyn graduated from Sowela Community College in 1995 as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and worked at many local hospitals in Lake Charles throughout her career, retiring in 2018. She was a loving mother, wife, sister and friend. Cremation has taken place. A funeral Mass will take place at 11 a.m., Tuesday, September 1, 2020 from St. Anne’s Church, Ste-Anne du Ruisseau with interment to follow in the church cemetery.
