She will be fondly remembered by her many friends.
Mary was a lifelong resident of St. Clair Beach. A woman truly devoted to her faith and active in her community. Mary was devoted to the daily rosary and had a great admiration for Father Solanus. Our dear mom was a founding member of St. Gregory the Great Church, now known as Good Shepherd Parish, a lifelong member of the Ladies’ Auxiliary, Catholic Women’s League, a Eucharistic Minister who at one time prided herself on visiting many nursing homes and hospitals. Mom was an active member of RTO and RWTO Teachers Association and the Kidney Foundation. Mom was a retired teacher from the Es County Catholic School Board, where most of her 35 plus years were at St. Gregory School. While there, mom was known as ‘Mrs. Grammar.’ Mom truly loved her teaching career and students.
Mom left an amazing legacy of compassion, thoughtfulness and caring in her card sending. She was and will always be remembered as the world’s greatest card sender.
Many thanks to her one and only ‘Daily Angel’ and her family. Special thanks to Father Gary Goyeau, Father John Comiskey, Barb Harrick, Roy & Virginia Brothers, Dr. R. Mikhail, Windsor Heart Institute, Dr. M. Chevalier, and her Personal Support Workers from Paramed, Ravinder, Annette and Drew for their care and compassion. Also, thank you to Windsor Regional Hospital (Met Campus) 4th Floor nurses, especially Jordan, (Ouellette Campus) 5th Floor nurses, and Tayfour 3rd Floor Rehab.
