BERTRAND: Mary Elizabeth Bertrand. It is with great sadness that the family of Mary Bertrand (nee Doidge), announce her passing on Sunday, March 1, 2020, at her home in Forrest, Manitoba, at the age of 84 years. Left to treasure all of the wonderful memories; her husband of 65 years Ronald, her children; Murray (Kathy) Bertrand, David (Loris) Bertrand, Brenda (Robert) Smith, Bruce (Shelly) Bertrand and Kurt (Sherry) Bertrand, as well as her grandchildren; Debbie (Rick) Lemay, Michael (Sarah) Bertrand, Shane (Tamara) Smith, Scott (Kelsey) Bertrand, Kristen (Aaron) Georget, Courtney Bertrand, Sarah (Dan) Cheung, Alysha (Peter) Duke, Mercedes Bertrand, Brayden Bertrand, Kaylee Bertrand and eight great grand-children; Marc, Jayden, Nash, Gavin, Brexten, Theodore, Emilia, Austin. Also left to mourn Mary’s passing are her sisters; Margaret Colley, Nelda (Matt) Chychrun, Isabel (Jim) Holm, Judy (Garry) Lepine, Beverly (Gordon) Kent; her brother, Bill (Karen) Doidge; her brother-in-law, Garth (Joyce) Bertrand, along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her parents, Art and Elsie Doidge, her sisters; Violet (Steve) Ewasiuk, Lottie (Terry) Petreiw, brothers; James and Edward Doidge, and brother-in-law, Bob Colley. A private graveside service will be held on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 10, 2020. For those who desire, and in memory of Mary, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, 1379 Kenaston Blvd., Winnipeg, MB, R3P 2T5. Complete obituary information to follow.
