Obituary of Shirley Elizabeth Harrison
HARRISON, SHIRLEY ELIZABETH
The passing of Shirley Elizabeth Harrison of Gagetown, NB, wife of the late Clive Calhoun occurred on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on September 29, 1935 in Stanley, NB, she was the daughter of the late Scott and Cora (Dorcas) Sansom. Shirley worked at the Victoria Public Hospital and the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital for forty years. She enjoyed knitting and had a green thumb.
Shirley is survived by her children, Debbie Blauvelt, Donnie Harrison (Lisa), Darlene Stanley (Steven), Donna Shelley (David) and Kelley Norrad (Bing); numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Mary Spencer and Frederica Porter (Raymond); brother, Donnie Sansom; several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will take place at York Funeral Home’s T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Monday, March 9, 2020 at 1 pm. Interment will take place in St. Thomas Anglican Cemetery, Stanley, NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to the Diabetes Association or the charity of the donor’s choice.
