Adela Bernabe Bautista
January 9, 1928 – February 28, 2020
With heavy hearts our family announces the sudden passing of Adela “Didi” Bautista on February 28, 2020.
Beloved sister to Mirna Claudio (Rowell), Amante Bautista (Ofelia), Mirasol Almazan (Judel), Cynthia Morales (Celso), sister-in-law to Virginia Bautista.
She was predeceased by her sister Flocerfida, her father Igmidio, her mother Juliana and brother Virgilio.
She was a loving adoptive mother to Mark (Lorelie), and to her nephews and nieces – Judith (Alvin), Miradel (Johvanni), Maribel (Jordan), Marlenne, Arianne (Nav), Amafel, Rose (Josh), Kim, Judelmir and Aira Kaye.
She was also a caring grandmother to Madelyn, Maxcyn, Angelyn, Ryu, Johvanni Jr., Juliana Patrice, Kailen, Naiomi, and Emmanuel John whom she devoted her time and adored.
Tita Didi first migrated to Canada in 1980 with her sister, Mirasol. She worked as a seamstress from Western Gloves and as a hairdresser in her home. She worked hard and made sacrifices to save and provide for her family back in the Philippines. Because of her independence and strength to support us, our family is now all here in Canada. Tita Didi was one of a kind. Her bright personality shines among us and we will remember her for that. You will forever be in our hearts.
