COMEAU, Geraldine – Age 71, of Meteghan, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at home. Born in Meteghan Station, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Angele (Hicks) LeBlanc. Geraldine felt it was important to give back to her community. That kindness expressed itself through volunteering such as TOPS, Senior Games, and Lionesses. She is survived by her husband, Gerald; children, John (Crystal) and Amanda; sister, Mildred Comeau; grandchildren, Grayson and Isabelle. She was predeceased by sisters, Helen LeBlanc in infancy, and Pearl Comeau. Visitation will be Monday, March 9, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. in Meteghan Funeral Home with cremation to follow. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. in Stella Maris Church, Meteghan, Rev. Albeni d’Entremont officiating. Burial will follow in parish cemetery. Donations may be made to Diabetes Canada or to Heart & Stroke Foundation.
