Eileen Nora Hatfield Saturday October 11th 1924

Hatfield, Eileen Nora – age 95 of the Meadows Home for Special Care passed away peacefully on December 31,2019 at the Meadows. Born in England, she was a daughter to the late Alex and Kathleen (Fisher) Coltman. Eileen was an extremely hard worker who was very likable and down to earth. She helped her husband Hubert Hatfield run the Toots Convenience Store on Main Street. She was also a devoted member of the Holy Trinity Anglican Church where she sang in the choir and undertook any tasks that were asked of her. In her spare time, she loved to do crafts and was especially talented at sewing, quilting, and rug hooking. She is survived by her son, David Hatfield, Yarmouth. Besides her parents Eileen was predeceased by her husband, Hubert Hatfield; sisters, Kathleen and Margaret; and a brother, Brian Coltman. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A funeral service will be held Monday, January 6,2020 at 11 a.m. from Holy Trinity Anglican Church, 61 William Street, Yarmouth, with Rev. Tory Byrne officiating. Interment will take place in Yarmouth Mountain Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
