Jeannine Bouchard (Barriault)
It is with great sorrow that the family announces her passing in Sudbury, Thursday, February 27th, 2020 at the age of 80 years. Beloved daughter of the late Émile and the late Juliette (née Lavoie) Barriault. Cherished wife of the late Donald Girard. Loving mother of Jo-Hanne Barriault (Robert Crocco) and Martine Bouchard (Jean Charbonneau). Beloved grandmother of Jonathan Crocco and Brianna Charbonneau. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends. Jeannine was born and raised in Matane, Québec, and later moved to Timmins, Ontario as a young adult. She was devoted to her family and friends. She helped manage businesses and volunteered her time to various organizations. She enjoyed travelling, reading books, gardening, camping, fishing, music concerts and festivals. She spent the last 14 years in Sudbury among family and friends. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at Health Sciences North, doctors and nurses who treated Jeannine with so much dignity and respect. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd. Sudbury, on Thursday, March 5th, 2020 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. in the Cooperative Funeral Home chapel, Sudbury. Donations, by cheque only, in memory of Jeannine to Parkinson Canada or the Arthritis Society would be greatly appreciated. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
