Wayne Hayden 1962 2020

Wayne Hayden
1962 – 2020
Wayne Anthony Hayden, passed away in Vauxhall on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the age of 57 years.
Relatives and friends were invited to meet with Wayne’s family at the Vauxhall Legion, 217 – 5 Street North, Vauxhall on Friday, March 6, 2020 between 2:00 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.
Wayne is survived by his daughter Carlee (Mike) Plettl of Lethbridge and their daughters Madison and Spencer; father Jack Hayden; sisters Maggie (Cal) Olson and their children Kevin Olson and Cory (Amanda) Olson; Darlene (Dan) Macleod and their children Brianne (Cheyenne) Ludwig and Denny Hleucka; brother Cifford Elgie; brother-in-law Rick Smith and his children Ryan (Lindsay) Smith and Stacy (Jeremy) Atkins as well as numerous great nieces and nephews, close friends and CWR Boat Club family.
He was predeceased by his mother Anne Hayden; brother Brian Hayden; sister Shari Smith as well as a few very close friends who were also like his family.
Wayne was dedicated supporter of Carlee’s hockey and sports activites as a child. His granddaughters Madison and Spencer were the light of his life and brought him so much joy. Wayne loved camping at the CWR Boat Club, playing crib, horseshoes and enjoyed spending a lot of time around the campfire in Magoos backyard. He loved sports and statistics, he was the most “unathletic athletic” person we ever knew. All of the kids will miss uncle Wayne and his treats.
If friends so desire, memorial tributes in Wayne’s name may be made directly to a charity of one’s choice.
The family would like to thank the first responders and all emergency services for their care given to Wayne.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Wayne Hayden 1962 2020..
