Susan graduated from The Dorset House School of Occupational Therapy in England, UK. She went on to work for over 40 years in the long-term health care system caring for people with cognitive impairments. She was the Director of the Alzheimer Society of York Region. Susan was a published author, fantastic advocate & speaker, along with being an avid golfer. During Sue’s retirement years she enjoyed spending time with her cherished Grandchildren Talon and Tempest. She cared for them, took them to softball, dance and gymnastics. She attended so many school events for both grandchildren like assemblies, awards, presentations and meetings. She helped advocate strongly for both grandchildren. She was known to many as simply Grammy. She will be greatly missed.
