At Victoria Campus of London Health Sciences Centre, on Monday, February 24, 2020, Harold Amos Zavitz of Komoka and formerly of Appin passed away in his 79thyear. Beloved Husband of Marjorie (Carruthers) Zavitz. Dear father of Sherri (Terry Graham) and Wendy (Darin) Vojin and loving grandfather of Mackenzie (Sydney), Grayson (Clara), Jackson and Eliza. Brother-in-law of Ron and Pat Carruthers and uncle to Debi and Darryl Feasey (Brennan and Shantaya) and Rob and Laura Carruthers (Quinn and Scotia). Harold was brother to Linda (Doug), Russell (Margaret Rose), Betty (Jim), late Dorothy (late Hudson), Max (late Joyce), Jean (late Doug), Hazel, Barb (late Butch), Lloyd, late Bill, late Murray, late Margaret (late Ray), late Jack (Hazel), late Marvin and late Ronald. Relatives and friends will be received at the Van Heck Funeral Home, 172 Symes Street, Glencoe on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 29 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Deb Dolbear-Van Bilsen officiating. Interment to follow at the Appin Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the London Regional Cancer Program or Appin Presbyterian Church.
