Ed Hannes, born December 9, 1949, passed peacefully at Juravinski Hospital, Hamilton on Sunday, February 23, 2020 after a brief but valiant battle with cancer. He is survived by his devoted wife Larysa, his beloved children Lysa, Eddy, Dean, Krista (Andrew), and his grandchildren Gabby, Justin, Christian and one-month-old Rebecca. Ed will be sadly missed by his sisters Vicky (the late Lawrence), Lii (Ain), Evy (Arvi), his many nieces and nephews, and his bosom buddy, Larysa’s cousin Orest Werenk…
