St-Paul, NB – Gerald Fisher, 78, passed away peacefully at his residence, with his wife by his side, on Sunday, February 23, 2020.
Born in Coates Mills, NB, he was the son of the late William and the late Grace Fisher (Hicks).
Gerald will be sadly missed by his wife of 54 years, Jane Fisher (born Gautreau); his son, Brian Fisher (Tina) of St-Paul; his two daughters, Bonnie Fisher (Joseph Ambrose) of Moncton and Tina Crossman of St-Paul; his brother, Winston (Joan) of Moncton; his two sisters, Edith Black (Victor) of Sus and Diane Campbell (Ken) of Ontario; his nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; also by several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Patrick (Bulah) and Weldon (Carrie); three sisters, Elsie (Roy), Dorothy (Henry) and Sadie (Colin); his granddaughter, Haley Fisher and his great granddaughter, Jada Fisher.
Visitation will be held at Passage Funeral Chapel (625 Mountain Road, Moncton), on Thursday, February 27, 2020, from 2 pm to 4 pm. As per Gerald’s wishes, there will be no religious funeral service.
In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to CHU Dumont Foundation (Oncology Unit) or to a charity of your choice.
