The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing at his residence in Chelmsford on Sunday, February 16th, 2020 at the age of 97 years. Son of the late Johannes and the late Ann Remmerswaal. Loving father of John (Jeannine), Mary Dittburner, Dan (Sharon), Jane Boivin (Denis), Ken and Ginger Rouleau (Rick Martin). Survived by his 3 sisters in Holland. Predeceased by many brothers and sisters. Cherished grandfather of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sadly missed by his dear friend Alvina “Al” Haley and by many friends at his senior’s club. John enjoyed playing cards at the senior’s club and will be remembered as a hardworking individual. The family will receive relatives and friends at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4691 R.R. 15, Chelmsford on Wednesday, February 19th, 2020 from 2 to 5 & 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held Thursday, February 20th, 2020 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
