LANE, William “Glenn”
Peacefully entered into rest surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the Belleville General Hospital. Glenn Lane of Belleville died at the age of 94. He was the son of the late Edgar & Winnifred Lane (nee Nobes) and husband to the late Helen. Glenn was the loving father of Carol Stein (Norm) of Gilmour and Calvin (Patsy) of Yarker. He was the dearest grandfather to Robert (Denise), Cheryl (Simon), Jennifer (Jonathan), Glenn, Philip and John and great grandfather of Abigail, Zachary, Austin, Trinity and Leighara. Glenn is predeceased by his sister Helen McKee and his brother Clare Lane. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.
Mr. Lane is resting at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) for visitation on Thursday, February 20th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from Sidney Westminster United Church, 1199 Wallbridge Loyalist Road, Belleville on Friday, February 21st, 2020 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Richard Hamilton officiating. Interment Belleville Cemetery. If desired, donations to the Sidney Westminster United Church would be appreciated by the family.
