Obituary
The death of Joan L. Buckland occurred on February 13, 2020 at Embassy Hall, Shannex, in Quispamsis, NB. She was born in Kenora, Ontario on June 28, 1931. She was the daughter of the late Royden and Ivy (Lord) Magee.
She is survived by her step children, Peter Buckland (Judy Halassy), Trish Johnson (Stephen) and Michael Buckland (Emilie); her step grandchildren, Kerri Stevens (Jack), Elliot Buckland (Kristen), Adrienne Buckland (Scott) and Joshua Halassy (Monica); step great grandchildren, Mya and Kayden Stevens and Anaya Halassy. She also leaves behind her sister, Dorothy Durning and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold Harley and her second husband, David Buckland. Also predeceased by her brother-in-law, Robert Durning and her step grandson, Joel Johnson.
Arrangements are entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424). A memorial service will be held in the spring of 2020. For those who wish, memorial donations in Joan’s memory to the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by her family.
