Obituary for
Ronald Shepard
Shepard, Ronald “Ron” :
Passed away on February 11, 2020 in Kitchener, ON surrounded by the love of his family at the age of 71.
Beloved husband of Jo-Ann Shepard (Bixby) for 47 years. Adored father of Ryan Shepard (Shanonne) and Kyle Shepard (Samantha Russell). Loving grandfather of Austin, Kennedy and Parker. Cherished brother, cousin, friend and “Uncle Ron” to so many more, all of whom, will miss him most dearly. He is predeceased by his parents, Bernard and Carol Shepard and his parents-in-law, George and Estelle Bixby.
Ron was a sweet and kind man who possessed a sweet tooth and kind eyes. He thought that his boys should be gentlemen and lead by example with their mother. His warm soul treated those he came across with dignity and compassion. He delighted many with his radiant smile and keen sense of humour. He was a hardworking man always ensuring his family lived a comfortable lifestyle. He had a passion for sport and for calling people “Sport” or “Guy”. He was a good husband and a great father and a greater grandfather. His infectious giggle and friendly and loving demeanor will be missed by all.
Private Cremation has taken place as per Ron’s final wishes. Details on a Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
