Obituary for Archie Stanley
With profound sadness we announce Archie’s passing into eternal life on February 12, 2020 at the age 80. Son of the late Archie and Cecila Stanley. Treasured husband of Mary Ann Robinson of 30 years. Loving father of Arty Stanley (Tina), Clint Stanley (Janet), Melissa Prystanski (Ted), Sean Robinson (Danielle). Treasured grandpa of Cassie, Heather (Rick), Samantha, Rachel, Evan, Kyle, Colin and Emma. Great grandpa of Kailey, Josh and Ethan. Brother of Frances Moroz (late Bill), Dan Stanley (Silvia) and the late Lloyd Stanley (Twila). Brother-in-law of Ron Hodgins (Audrey) and Maureen Vigneux. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Archie retired in 2005 from the Windsor Star after 41 years of dedicated service. He was a member of the Communications Workers of America. Active member of the Moose Lodge 1499 Windsor. Archie by large was a classic car enthusiast and an avid movie watcher. Archie is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. N, Es on Monday, February 17, 2020 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Archie’s life will be celebrated from the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow.
