Obituary of Marcella Post
Peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at the Summit Place Nursing Home in Owen Sound, on Monday, February 10th, 2020. Marcella Doreen Maud Post (nee Smith), of Owen Sound, at the age of 81 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Douglas Post. Dear sister of Eleanor Ledingham (Bob), Ken Smith (Ruth), Carol Ransom, Mary Ann Kain, Sheila Dickson (Terry), Jimmy Smith (Brenda), Lloyd Smith (Bernie), Robert Smith (Lucy), Marlene Meloche (Bill), Debbie Martin (Rick) and sister-in-law of Bert Morrison. Marcella will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, John and Merlen Smith; her siblings, Elfreda Morrison, Kay Feltis (Russell) and Jack Smith (Chris); her in-laws, Stan Ransom.
As per Marcella’s request, there will not be any service at this time. Interment in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hepworth. If so desired, the family would appreciate donations to the Alzheimer Society of Grey-Bruce as an expression of sympathy and may be made through the BRIAN E.
