Madeline Wharram (nee Wigfield); 92 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Erie Shores Hospice, Leamington. Dear wife of the late Douglas Wharram. Loving mother of Eldon (Gwen) Wharram and Kay (David) Jantzi. Cherished grandmother of Jason, Jennifer, Angela, Jeffery, Carissa and Philip. Great grandmother of Braydon, Ashlyn, Cayleigh, Devon, Ava, Ella, Brendan, Dylan, Leah, Hailey, Madelyn, Abigayle, Chloe and Olivia. Sister of the late Garth (Betty) Wigfield, Donn (Joyce) Wigfield, Mac (Marlise) Wigfield, late Jack Wigfield and Wilma Dickinson. Madeline was a Sunday School teacher for over 65 years at the Wheatley Baptist Church. She was an accomplished seamstress, who loved to crochet, creating many beautiful designs.
Visitation will be held at Kendrick Funeral Home, Wheatley, on Friday, February 14, 2020 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. where a celebration of Madeline’s life will begin at 1 p.m. Burial to follow in Erie Cemetery, Wheatley.
Donations in memory of Madeline, may be made to the The Gideons Internationl in Canada or Erie Shores Hospice.
