COMEAU, Alvina – Age 90 of Meteghan, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Meteghan Station, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Marie (Deveau) Maillet. We will always remember her large heart, non- judgmental nature and open home. She would welcome everyone with her fun loving personality and gracious smile. She was a homemaker all of her life and relied on her faith for strength in trying times. She completed her rosary every night and we are certain that she has once again joined her husband and son. She is survived by sons, James (Christine), Lloyd, Eric; daughter-in-law, Clarisse; brothers, Lewis, Emile; sisters, Alice, Rachelle; grandchildren, Kim Louis, Yvette, Jean-Jacques, Patrick, Andrée, Adam, Dylan, Brian; great grandchildren, Jordan, Marisol, Fidel. She was predeceased by husband, Albert; son Aurèl; siblings, John, Therese, Willard, Gerald, Elise. Cremation has taken place under the care of Meteghan Funeral Home. Funeral mass will be Wednesday, February 5 at 10 a.m. in Stella Maris Church, Meteghan, Rev. Honoré Kouassi officiating. Burial will follow in parish cemetery. Donations may be made to Jacky Comeau & Friends Cancer Help Fund Association or to Atelier de Clare.
