Obituary of Frank O’Connor
Passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, Frank O’Connor, in his 93rd year. Frank and Bridget O’Connor raised four children Bernard,
Kevin (Karleen), Helen and Patricia. Proud grandfather of Heidi, Fabian,Thor and Maggie, Connor and Liam and great-grandfather of Moses and
Charlie. Predeceased by his parents William and Mary as well as four brothers Joe, Tony, Vincent and John. Frank immigrated to Canada from
Ireland in 1957. He is well known in the London community for his career as a Montreal Trust Branch Manager and an avid golfer at the London Hunt
Club. Frank was known for his devotion to the Catholic Church, his keen interest in James Joyce and his eternal support for the Notre Dame college
football team. A gregarious soul, he was happiest with a cup of tea in his hand, surrounded by friends and family expounding on the worlds of
business, politics and of course golf. Visitors are welcome to John T. Donohue Funeral Home, 362 Waterloo Street, on Sunday, February 9, 2020 from 6 to 8 pm.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Peter’s Cathedral Basilica, 196 Dufferin Avenue, on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Peter’s
Cemetery. If desired, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
