James “Jim” Ward
1954-2020
James “Jim” Frederick Ward,
65, of Petitcodiac, passed away at the Moncton Hospital on Tuesday,
February 4, 2020. Born in Moncton, he was the son of Pauline (Dunham)
Ward and the late Fred Ward. Jim was a truck driver who always enjoyed
getting together with family and friends.
Jim is survived and sadly missed by his
beloved spouse of 36 years, Henrietta (Wheaton) Ward; children, Randy
Sleep (Stephanie), Renea Leskie (David), Rachel Ward (Joey)
and Ryan Ward; grandchildren, Jeremy, Chelsey, Carter, and Charlie;
sister, Dorothy Quillian (Jim); brothers, Tom (Linda), Tim (Claudette)
and Billy (Heather) Ward; mother-in-law, Addie Gaudet,
brothers-in-law, Harry (Kathy), Larry, and Mike Wheaton; several
nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father, Fred, Jim was
predeceased by his father-in-law, Orland Wheaton; brothers-in-law,
Larry Mills and John Wheaton; sister-in-law, Judy
Mills.
The family wishes to thank the doctors,
nurses, and staff at the Moncton Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at
the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #41, 18 Kay St, Petitcodiac, on
Saturday, February 15 from 1:30 – 5 pm. Interment in
Maplewood Cemetery at a later date. If desired memorials to Friends of
the Jordan Life Care Centre or SPOT would be
appreciated.
