Obituary of Cecilia Andrade Ash
Died on Sunday February 2, 2020 at Providence Care Hospital in Kingston after a courageous and brave battle with cancer. Born on September 16, 1966 in Cabus, Philippines. Daughter of Julita (Abayon) Andrade. Predeceased by her father Virgilio Andrade and her father in law Raymond Ash. Loving wife of Stephen Ash. Beloved and caring mother of Marck Glen, Step daughter Christiana, step-son Petrus. Dear sister of Vicky (Joseph) and brother Dennis (Maidy). Cherished grandmother of Lucas. Proud aunt of Joshua, Shanaia, Jasmine and great aunt of Aina Dennise Almenario and Sandrylle Denn. Survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers and sisters in laws. Thanks to Providence Care Hospital and the Cancer Centre of KGH. Special thanks to nurse practitioner Janet Giroux. Cecilia lived in three different countries in order to provide a better life for her family. She was most at peace in her garden. “Hon, take care of my garden” Nagpapahinga ako kasama ang aking ama. Visitation will take place at James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd.) on Thursday February 6, 2020 from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held on Friday February 7, 2020 at 11am in the James Reid Chapel. Burial will follow at Cataraqui cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Cecilia memory to the Canadian Cancer Society.
