With his family by his side David passed away on January 29th at the Stedman Hospice. David leaves behind his wife of 47 years Kathleen, sons Gareth (Karen), Ryan (Daniella), grandchildren Gavin and Chloe, brother John (Andrea) nieces Olivia and Jessica and nephews Laurence and Christopher. David was born in Newport South Wales to parents Harry and Betty emigrating to Canada in 1974. David was an avid model railway enthusiast who enjoyed showing his grandchildren his collection of trains and track layout. When not in Brantford you would find David on a cruise ship enjoying a well deserved glass of wine with his friends by his side. David will be sadly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Stedman Community Hospice or a charity of your choice. A Celebration of David’s life will be held Sunday, February 9th at the Charing Cross Reception Centre, adjacent to TOLL FUNERAL HOME, 55 Charing Cross Street, Brantford from 1pm – 3pm with a sharing of memories at 1:30pm. The family would like to thank the many caring and compassionate people involved in David’s care over the past 2 years from healthcare to friends you are all truly amazing.
