Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our mother Muriel May Grant on January 27, 2020 at the age of 99 years.
She was predeceased by her husband Bill; her daughter Linda; and her brothers Stan and Barney Moore. Muriel is survived by her son Bill; her daughter Marie; her grandchildren Vicki, Jackie, Michelle, Kelly, Steven, Trena and Becky; as well as 11 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren.
Muriel was born and raised in the Manchester community and later the Windsor Park community of Calgary. She worked and retired from The Hudson’s Bay in downtown Calgary. Muriel was a legion member, an avid 5 pin, lawn and carpet bowler, and belonged to Fish Creek Seniors. She continued to live life to the fullest after her husband’s passing where she enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends. We will all miss her quick wit and fun manner.
A big thank you to the Father Lacombe Care Centre for their care and kindness.
A celebration of life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Centennial Branch 285 (9202 Horton Road SW) on Tuesday, February 11, 2020 at 1:00pm.
