Obituary
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Jim, on Wednesday July 24th, 2019 at the North Bay Regional Health Center in his 63rd year. He is the much loved husband of Anne (Ralston) Deveaux, of South River. Dear father of Chad (Natalie) Deveaux of South River and Shane (Lorraine) Deveaux of Bonfield He is lovingly remembered by his grandchildren James, Kiera, Preston , Brenden, Dalton and Nathon. He is survived by his siblings John (Wanda), Paul, Valerie (Bob), Betty (Ivor), Joan (Cliff), and by his mother in law Eva , brother in law Steve (Lorraine) and sister in law Shelley. He will be fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by his parents Sarah and Alfred and his brother Jules. Jim spent most of his working years driving transport covering all of Canada and the U.S.A. On his time off he always enjoyed a challenging game of crib with his buddy Ron, country music, and celebrating with family and friends . In keeping with Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place. A Celebration of life will be held on Saturday August 3rd, 2019, from 2-4 p.m. at his home at 50 Machar Strong Boundary Rd W, South River. If so desired, memorial donations to the Diabetes Association would be acknowledge as expressions of sympathy by the family. Arrangements entrusted to Raney Funeral Chapel.
