Gloria Hurlbert 1946 2020

Gloria Hurlbert
1946 – 2020
Gloria Anne Hurlbert passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Home – Carmel Hospice in Medicine Hat on Christmas Day, Friday, December 25, 2020, at the age of 74 years. Gloria will be lovingly remembered by her daughter, Natalie (Stewart) Schaffer-Lawton and her children, Lane, Leigh (Nicole) (and their children, Arleigh and Cru), Jennifer (Dan); son, Jason (Amy) Schaffer and his children, Kaleb, Austin, Sean and Seth, their mother, Linzi; brother, Sidney (Gail) Hurlbert as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Gloria was born and raised in Redcliff. She spent many years caring for others as a nurse at South Country Village as well as other numerous hospitals throughout BC and AB. If you knew Gloria, she could be found either on the golf course, playing pool or darts, knitting, crocheting or painting. She loved socializing with her friends… she had a wonderful sense of humour with the gift of gab and curse words simply rolled off her tongue; especially her most favourite word… the eff word! Gloria was a member of the Redcliff Legion as well as the Redcliff Pool League. She will be missed mostly by her grandchildren who thought the world of her. Gloria will be remembered with a private time of remembrance.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Gloria Hurlbert 1946 2020..
