Peacefully at home, surrounded by his loving family at the age of 69 on December 28, 2020 Loving husband of Maria DoCarmo Arruda. Loving father and father-in-law of Dianne and her husband Manuel Pacheco, and Jeff Arruda. Dearest grandfather of Brandon, Dylan and Antanella. Son of the late Duarte and Angelina Arruda. Much loved brother and brother-in-law of the late Angelina and Manuel Arruda, Duarte and Kathleen Arruda, and Jose and Honorina. Joao will be sadly missed by many nieces nephews cousins and friends. Due to current restrictions the visitation, funeral service and burial will be private, for the immediate family.
