Passed away peacefully, surrounded by the love of his family on Thursday, Dec. 24, 2020 at Innisfree House in his 92nd year.
Cherished father of Darlene Edwards of St. Marys, Marilyn Newman (Ross) of Waterloo, Randall Watson (Sheila) of Brockton, and Nancy Edwards (Mitch) of Bessemer, Alabama. Papa and Great-papa to 11 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Survived by one remaining sister, Helen Walls of Strathroy, and sister-in-law Brenda Watson of Stratford. Predeceased by his loving wife of 61 yrs. Orloe (Waghorn) in 2010, and his son Kevin Watson (2015). Also predeceased by his siblings, Russell, Donald, Keith and Pauline, grandchildren Brent Newman (1981), Sean Smith (2000), Crystal Ditner (2009), Barry Edwards (2016), John Watson (2019), daughter-in-law Betty Watson (2005) and son-in-law Wayne Edwards (2013).
Jack will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
He was a committed lifelong member and past president of the Kitchener Lions Club, and a Fairview Park mall-walker for many years.
As expressions of sympathy donations can be made to Bridgeport United Church or Innisfree House .
