Obituary of Glenn Allen Hull
The family of Glenn Allen Hull regretfully announces his unexpected passing December 21, 2020 at the South Shore Regional Hospital. Born in Bridgewater, NS on October 2, 1953, he was the only child of Neris and Ruth Hull.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 47 years Nancy (Duggan); son, Richard; daughter, Kimberly (Alain); beloved grandchildren, Issiah, Madison, Jake, and Emma. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Rhonda, her husband, Ronald and nephew, Jeffrey Vickers.
Glenn’s passion in life was grocery retail. From the young age of 12, he helped his Uncle Stanley deliver groceries from the Shamrock Store in Bridgewater. Once old enough, he too worked at the Shamrock Store alongside his father Neris. Upon graduating from high school, he and his father went into business together opening the family business, Mainline Market which operated for 44 years.
Glenn enjoyed traveling to warmer countries with Nancy and golfing and hunting with his lifelong friend Lynwood Conrad.
Due to the ongoing current COVID-19 situation, a celebration of Glenn’s life will be held in the summer of 2021.
Donations in Glenn’s memory can be made to Victoria Order of Nurses, Emergency Medical Services or South Shore Regional Hospital, Bridgewater.
If there ever comes a day when we can’t be together, keep me in your heart. I’ll stay there forever.
