VIOLET ROSE HENDERSON
Passed away peacefully, painlessly in palliative care at the Cornwall Community Hospital on Thursday, December 3, 2020; age 88. Sadly missed by her brothers Ronald of Kingston, Gerald (Jacqueline), and Jack, both of Cornwall, her nephews Michael (Georgina) of Burnaby, BC, Andrew (Debbie) of Cornwall, and Kevin (Akiko) of Oyama, Japan. Predeceased by her husband’s Charles Lindale, Frank Lalonde, and soul mate Walter Scott, parents John Angus Henderson and Dorothy Agnes (nee Hunter) Henderson, as well as one sister Shirley Hughes and brother James. Vi enjoyed a full life as a secretary, and later as a medical secretary. Her passions were riding her bicycle, swimming, palliative volunteering, celebrating family get-togethers and visiting her many friends. Independence was always of prime importance. Vi was a dear heart. Thanks for the care and kindness by the doctors, nurses, and staff at the C.C.H. palliative unit.
FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held. Memorial donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, C.N.I.B. or C.C.H. palliative unit gratefully acknowledged.
