Dennis Burden Tuesday December 22nd 2020

BURDEN, Dennis Neal
Sept 7, 1932 – Dec 22, 2020
Suddenly on Tues Dec 22, 2020. Beloved Father of Linda (Duane Dixon) Kerry Coones and Glen Coones. Loving Grandfather of Angela (Tommy), Jordan, Corey and Aaron (Amanda) and Great-grandfather of Evan. Survived by sisters Pat Berry (d. Ron), Elsie Grinton (d. Don), Dorothy Knight, Gwendolyn Burden, brother Douglas (Karen), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents William and Louie Burden, and brother Roy (d. Betty). Dad enjoyed a long career in the appliance and swimming pool business, retiring from Norfolk Pools in 2004 and was a Lifetime member of Wilson Lodge # 113. He led a quiet life and is now reunited with his beloved best dog friend Jake. Dad was able to have remained in his own home, thanks to assistance from the wonderful PSW’s from Participation Support Services, especially to us in our time of need. He will be missed by many wonderful neighbours and friends at Fordview Court. Per his wishes, he will be cremated and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, once safe to do so. Arrangements entrusted to the Toll Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the SPCA are gratefully appreciated. www.tollfh.ca
