Norma Joyce Tedford
April 16, 1946 – December 22, 2020
Tedford, Norma Joyce – age 74, Hebron, formerly of Pembroke Yarmouth Co., passed away peacefully on December 22,2020 at Villa St Joseph du Lac, with two of her daughters by her side after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Norma was a beloved Mother and Grandmother, who will be missed by her Children Charles Killam (Tina), Cheryl Rudderham (Jim), Sharon Sweeney (Wayne), Tam MacPhee (Steve); Grandchildren CJ, Jenniece, Laura, Sarah, Rebecca, Tristan, Lindsey, Shay, and JJ; Great Grandchildren Luke, Liam and Malcolm. She was Predeceased by former Husband Charles d’Eon and her parents Minnie & Norman Tedford. Norma grew up on a farm, in Pembroke with 2 sisters and 3 brothers. Norma loved being outdoors. Gardening, beach walking, camping, picking berries and spending time with her grandkids. Norma also loved to dance. Norma’s heart is full as well, with the many children she tended in her home. The people she met while running her boarding house and the seniors she took care of in her home and in others homes. Along with her work, she volunteered to help people whenever she could. Norma believed in giving to others, despite not having much financially. Her time was the most precious gift she had to offer. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Huskilson’s Funeral Home. As per Norma’s wishes there will be no visitation. A Private family memorial service will be held in the spring. Memorial Donation in Norma’s memory can be made to the Alzheimer’s society of Nova scotia.
