George O’Brien
The death of George O”Brien of Lorne occurred at his residence December 21, 2020 at the age of 74. Born in Lorne, he was the son of the late Harold and Opal (Godin) O’Brien.
George was employed as a mechanical insulator having worked all across the country. When younger, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and trapping and his later years in life enjoying drinks with his friends especially Armand and Gail. A special thank you to the extra Mural program and caseworkers who took such great care of my father.
George is survived by his daughter Gaynna (Jean Marc) of Lorne; grandson Riley; brothers Pius, Terry and Jimmy; sisters Yvonne and Delphine; his very special nephew Pierre as well as his several other nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Carl and Ludger and sisters Anne and infant sister Simone.
Due to Covid restrictions a private funeral service will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements are in the care of MacMillan’s Funeral Home, Black Point.
