Robert Munro Wednesday December 9th 2020

Gone from our sight but never from our hearts, it is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Robert George Munro on December 9, 2020.
In the comfort of his own home, in the arms of his loving family, Robert slipped away in the early evening. Robert was a man of love, strength, passion, compassion, loyalty and humility. From his sense of fun to the warmth that could fill a room, he will be missed by many.
He was the true North for his family, and he was their beloved Robert. Known for his infinite strength and patience, he took delight in supporting his family and friends as they pursued their passions. He knew people’s strengths and put others first. He chose to see the best in people.
A beloved husband, survived by his wife, Jen Fullerton Munro, his daughter Zoe Munro (Ryan), his son Sam Munro (Camille), stepsons Ethan and Benjamin Rosborough, parents David and Gloria Munro, and brothers Tim Munro (Akiko. Joshua, Lucas, Ian), and Peter Munro (Jeannie, Mikkel). Robert had many relatives and friends across Canada.
One of a kind, you, Robert George Munro, will forever live in our hearts and souls. We were so lucky to have lived in yours. You will be remembered and celebrated for your kindness, thoughtfulness and above all, your sense of humour and the love you gave to those around you.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Robert’s honor to BC Cancer Foundation. A celebration of his extraordinary life will be held when all the friends and family he so deeply loved can gather safely together.
