Megan Piercey 2005 -2020
It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece and friend Megan Piercey. From the first time she opened her striking blue eyes we knew she was something special. Megan did not have a long life on this earth but she certainly lived a full one. Megan accomplished much in her life excelling at many sports, school and friendships. Her drive to succeed was second only to her kindness and compassion. Her life was filled with a smile, joy and laughter. She said I love you every day. She was a ray of sunshine that lit those around her. We will forever carry that sunshine with us in our hearts.
We love you Megan…fly high sweet girl. We shall meet again.
“It is not ours to decide how much time we will be given, only to decide what we do with the time we have.”
Leaving to forever cherish her memory are parents Keith Piercey and Krista Blundell. Brothers Ethan and Graham Piercey and their friends Jane Smallman and Mya Rutherford. Grandparents Allan and Millie Piercey and Wallace and Janet Blundell. Aunt Jackie (James Drover), cousins Courtney, Ryan and Adam. All extended family (our Aunts, Uncles and Cousins). Special friends Verna Scevior (Cecil), Michelle Parsons, Joanne Hull, Zohreh Erfanian, Cindy Brown and Kerry Chaytor. And any who knew her.
In lieu of flowers we are requesting donations to which all funds will be used for ongoing support of young athletes involved in sports programs in Gander. Donations can be made to Meganmoosports@gmail.com or by mail to: 9 Gibson Pl, Gander, NL, A1V 2T1.
