Peacefully, at the Charleswood Care Home in Winnipeg, Judy was reunited with her beloved parents Theodore and Edith Bursa.
Judy leaves behind her children Kim Valen (Jason), Chris Heming (Kim), and Kevin Heming (Annette), grandchildren Jacy, Nicole (Tanner), Shelby, Hayden, Cameron, Madelyn, Jacob, and three-month old great granddaughter Ellie Mae.
Judy was born in Toronto ON, but soon moved to West Kildonan, Winnipeg with her parents and her large family of Raymond aunts, uncles, and cousins. She stayed in Winnipeg during her young adult life until moving to Killarney, Manitoba where she made beautiful memories with friends and her involvement in community groups such as the Kinettes and Beta Sigma Phi. Judy loved the beach at Killarney Lake. Judy moved back to Winnipeg and continued to reside in Weskay, her favorite neighborhood, where she could be close to her Mom and Dad. When her parents needed her in their old age, Judy was devoted to caring for both Edith and then Ted. She will now be with them forever.
Judy‘s family would like to thank the front-line staff at Charleswood for their work during this most difficult time as we would especially like to thank her dear friend Cherie who over the last four years became quite close to Judy, Cherie would spend time reading, visiting, and taking her for walks.
Cremation has taken place and a private service will be held.
We will miss you mom; we will always love you until we meet again.
