Patricia Ann Robinson Monday December 14th 2020

PATRICIA ROBINSON (nee Ramsay)
Passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020 at 92 years of age, leaving her children Tony and Vicky and grandsons Christopher and Daniel. She is also survived by daughter-in-law Lynne, and sister-in-laws Shelley, Lynn, Geale and Trudy. Pat was pre-deceased by her husband of 56 years Frank (Robin) in 2009, her parents John and Mary Ramsay, and brother Jack.
Pat was born in Glasgow, Scotland on June 21, 1928 and along with her parents and brother, moved to Canada in the summer of 1929. The family lived in the High Park neighbourhood during Pat’s school years, attending Humberside Collegiate and the University of Toronto. Pat and Frank met when both families moved to Lorne Park and they wed in 1953. They moved to Richmond Hill after Tony was born and lived in their home on Mill Street for the next 50 years. Pat earned her Teachers Certificate and had a long and happy career teaching elementary school at Beverley Acres and Crosby Heights Public Schools. Pat also volunteered for many years at York Central Hospital (now Mackenzie Health).
Pat enjoyed taking part in sports with her family – tennis and golf in the summer, skiing and skating in the winter. Most of all, she loved spending summers at the family cottage on Georgian Bay with her family and their many friends who cottaged in Honey Harbour.
In light of the current circumstances with Covid-19, a celebration will be postponed to a later date.
