Obituary of Scott Robert Boudreau
It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of Scott Robert Boudreau on Monday, December 7, 2020.
He leaves to mourn his mother Lianne Major Boudreau of Steinbach, MB, father John and wife Debbie Boudreau of Inuvik, NT, sister Stephanie Boudreau of Inuvik, NT, Maternal Grandmother Jean Major of Steinbach, MB, Paternal Grandparents Vicki Boudreau of Airdrie, AB & David Boudreau and wife Laurie of Whitehorse, YT, Maternal Uncle Kent Major and family from Montreal, QC, Maternal Uncle Grant Major and family from Steinbach, MB, Maternal Biological Aunt Cathy Rose and family from Calgary, AB, Maternal Biological Aunt Joy Denyer and family from Winnipeg, MB, Maternal Biological Uncle Joe Chambers from Tyndall, MB, Maternal Biological Aunt Michelle Chambers and family from East Selkirk, Maternal Biological Uncle Michael Chambers and family from Winnipeg, MB, Paternal Aunt Carol Mulder and family from Airdrie, AB, best friend Brook Penner of Winnipeg, MB and many friends, too numerous to list. In particular, we want to make special mention of his favorite Aunt Jacqueline Brake of New Waterford, Cape Breton whom he loved so much.
He was predeceased by his Maternal Grandfather and namesake Robert (Bob) Major from Steinbach in 2006, and his Maternal biological Grandmother Susan Smith from Selkirk, MB April 30, 2020.
Scott began his life in Inuvik, NT and later moved to Manitoba with his mother and sister in 2008. He attended Mitchell Middle School. He attended the Steinbach Regional Secondary School and received an Award of Merit for his Academic Achievements for 2011-2012 and graduated with honors. Scott joined the Royal Canadian Air Cadets (RCACS) #307. He attended General Training – Air at Penhold, AB in 2011 and Gliding School in Gimli, MB in 2012. He had completed his ground school and was earning flight hours towards his pilot’s license. Scott earned his certificate in Project Management and worked at Loewen Windows in Steinbach as a Project Officer. He was respected and well-liked by his peers who recognized his commitment and easy-going nature. Scott loved to work out and never missed a day. It was important to him to keep his body in shape.
Scott will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. Memorial donations may be made to www.SteinbachAnimalRescue.com in memory of Scott Boudreau.
The family will hold a Celebration of Life in the spring once Covid 19 restrictions are eased.
