Deborah Ann “Debbie” Wallace
1954-2020
Wallace, Deborah Ann “Debbie”, age 66, of Merland,
Antigonish County, passed away on December 10, 2020, in St.
Martha’s Regional Hospital, Antigonish.
Born in Toronto, she was a daughter of the late Charles and
Beatrice (Leadbetter) Munro.
Debbie was a kind and caring soul who enjoyed playing cards,
bingo, and many a cup of tea. A humble person of
incredible strength, she had a great sense of humour and always had a
smile on her face.
She is survived by her twin daughters, Tracy (John Haines),
Port Hawkesbury; and Tanya (Glenn Henson), Antigonish; son, Charles,
Guysborough; grandchildren, Dustin, Candace, Cailin, and Adam;
brothers, Fred (Jeannine), Alberta; and Terry (Aurora), British
Columbia; half brother, Perry Munro, Annapolis Valley;
brothers-in-law, Earl and Billy Wallace, Antigonish; sisters-in-law,
Allie Ronaghan, Ontario; Darlene Chisholm, Antigonish; and Margie
Flemming, Truro; special nephew, Frankie Wallace, and many more
nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Predeceased by her husband, Ron; brothers, Stevie and Gary; a
twin sister in infancy; and many
brothers-and-sisters-in-law.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm in
C.L. Curry Funeral Home, 135 College Street, Antigonish.
Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 11:00 in
St. Peter’s Church, Tracadie, Fr. John Barry
presiding. Burial in the St. Patrick’s Cemetery,
Merland.

PUBLIC VISITATION
PROTOCOLS
All visitors are advised to bring a mask when
attending a visitation at our funeral home. There are
markings on the floor which indicate six-foot distances as well as
markings that indicate 6 feet from the family.
It is important that you respect those
markings, and physical contact with the family is to be avoided at all
times. The province’s social
distancing guidelines can be found here.
At the direction of the Province of Nova Scotia, we
will not be handling Mass or donation money, though cards can be made
available for you. You will be asked to provide your name
and phone number for the purposes of tracing should a case of COVID-19
be reported.
Anyone who is exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms or who
could be considered high-risk of contracting the coronavirus should
avoid attending the visitation and funeral. The list of
