Marguerite Meliota Sunday December 13th 2020

It is with sadden hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved mother, grandmother, great grand-mother, aunt, and friend Marguerite Meliota. She passed away peacefully in Toronto on Dec 13 2020 at the age of 84.
She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband Domenic Meliota, loving daughter Judi Allan (Marc), her adoring grandchildren Jennifer Bowden (Kyle), Kimberley Mariano, Robert Allan, and three great grandchildren Matthew, Mila, and Zachary that were blessed to get to know her.
Marguerite was a strong, caring, kind, loving woman and was deeply admired by those who knew her well. She surrounded herself with those that loved her, spent her winters on a beach in Acapulco, summers in Fenelon Falls, enjoyed gardening with her daughter, kept her mind sharp by completing crosswords in the newspaper, indulged daily in Coronation Street and was always there for every family milestone. She was a pillar in our family, and will always be loved and will never be forgotten.
Funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 17, 2020 in the Ward Funeral Home chapel at 1:30 pm with entombment at Queen of Heaven cemetery. Due to Covid restrictions the service is private and by invitation only. The funeral will be available to be viewed via livestream and the link will be made available on the day of the service under the “photos and videos” tab.
In honour of Marguerite donations to the Canadian Cancer Society are appreciated.
