ROSS, Kathleen Rae

Kathleen “Kathy” Rae Ross of Kelowna, British Columbia, passed away on November 29, 2020, at the age of fifty after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Kathy is survived by her loving spouse, Ronald Poirier; her son Nicholas; stepdaughter Elizabeth; mother Maureen Ross of Coquitlam, BC; sister Tracey (Steve) Penner of Yorkton, SK; sister Debbie (Mike) Linde of Coquitlam; brother Steve (Devon) Ross of Port Coquitlam, BC; uncle Bill (Bea) Messinger of Chilliwack, BC; cousins Mike Ross, Stephen Ross, and Kari Ross; a niece and nephews; many cousins; and many close friends. Kathy was predeceased by her father, Ken Ross.
Kathy was born in New Westminster, BC. She was a wonderful mother, daughter, and sister; an amazing friend and confidante; and an accomplished research coordinator appreciated by all who worked with her. She loved her pets deeply and all animals loved her. In her spare time, Kathy enjoyed travelling especially camping.
A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later date once larger gatherings are permitted. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations to the BC Cancer Agency would be appreciated by the family.
