FLYNN, Corinne – Age 86 of Church Point, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Grosses Coques, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Eva (Belliveau) Melanson.
Corinne had a passion for claming. For many years, she took in student boarders from Université Sainte-Anne, where she also worked as a librarian for over 20 years.
She is survived by children, Terry (Hubert) LeBlanc, Concession; Robert (Paulette), Meteghan Station; Kevin (Joyce), Church Point; Roland (Joanne), Church Point; Paul Yvon (Tammie), Church Point; daughter-in-law, Réjane Flynn, Church Point; brother, Benoit (Elaine) Melanson, Bangor; sisters, Clara Gaudet, Saulnierville; Claudette (Paul) Tufts, Hebron; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by husband, Normand; son, Norman Jr.
Cremation has taken place under the care of Meteghan Funeral Home. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, a private funeral mass will be held at a later date in Église Sacré-Coeur, Saulnierville, with burial to follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Church Point. Donations may be made to the Jacky Comeau & Friends Cancer Help Fund Association or to a charity of your choice.
