William “Bill Theodore James Betts 2020

William “Bill” Theodore James Betts, aged 74 years of Moose Jaw, SK quietly passed away on Saturday, December 5th, 2020 from complications of a stroke. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Theo; his parents and one sister. Bill is survived by his loving wife, Jean; daughter, Amanda Bilowus of Winnipeg, MB; very dear family friend, Brad Templeman of Winnipeg; sister, Diane and brother, Gordon of Cranbrook, BC.
Bill worked all his working life in the aircraft industry and was very proud to be a retired member of the RCAF. His passion was the great outdoors and he was always ready for the next fishing or hunting trip. Bill always wanted to see what was behind the next tree, over the next hill, or around the next bend in the road.
We would like to thank the doctors, nurses and support staff at both the Regina General Hospital and the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, especially the nurses on the Medical Ward, for their kind and compassionate care of Bill.
In keeping with Bill’s wishes, a Private Family Interment will take place when he is taken home to his mountains. Flowers are gratefully declined. As an expression of sympathy, donations in Bill’s name may be made to The Moose Jaw Humane Society, Box 1658 Station Main, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 7K7. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Andrew Pratt Funeral Director 306-693-4550
