SHILLINGTON, Doreen Elishia
Unexpectedly after a brief illness at Kingston Health Sciences Centre, on Thursday, December 3, 2020, in her 83rd year. Doreen (nee MacRow), beloved wife of 61 years to Doug Shillington. Dear mother of Kim Shillington (Paul Stevenson) and Kendall Shillington and special aunt to Jeanine MacRow. Affectionately known as “Nan” to her grandchildren, Andrew Davison, Nicole Round (Kevin), Rebecca Shillington, Jack Shillington (Kait Hamilton), Kendra Shillington (Matt Edmonds) and “Nanny” to her great-grandchildren, Addison Shillington and Cecil Edmonds. Survived by her brother Donald MacRow. Fondly remembered by her nieces, nephews and extended family. Resting at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Boulevard. The family will gather privately for a service in the Chapel on Wednesday, December 9, with Reverend Blair Peever officiating. Interment will follow at Cataraqui Cemetery. We at the James Reid Funeral Home, would like to let you know that we have had an employee test positive for COVID on Wednesday, November 25, {Tested Monday, November 23}. The Kingston Public Health Unit has investigated, the funeral home has been deep cleaned and it has been deemed safe for everyone to be in our building. Also, the rest of our staff who have been tested, tested negative.
The Kingston Public Health Unit has concluded there is no exposure to the Public.
