MacKENZIE, Margaret – Peacefully into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour on Sunday November 29, 2020, of Waterford. Beloved wife of Eric for 60 years. Loved mother of Dwayne (and Melody), Donna (and Nick). Cherished Nana of Jeremy (and Karen), Eva, Markus, and great grandson Owen. Dear sister of Danny (and Marg) Tanchak, Ruth (and Lyle) Smith, and sister-in-law Lily Tanchak. Predeceased by brother John, and her sister Mary (and the late Roy) Hunter. Marg will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and extended family, and by her dear friend Sylvia Buchwald and family. For 20 years Marg volunteered with the Norfolk General Hospital Auxiliary and she will be widely remembered for her determination and work in the church and local community. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Willow Walk, Norview Lodge for their compassionate care and kindness during her stay. Also, a special thanks to Dr.’s Witt-Sullivan, Leiber, Medve and Weber for their exceptional support over the years. Due to Covid-19 the family will be having a small private service to celebrate Marg’s life. Donations to honour Marg’s memory can be made to the Dr. Mina MacKenzie Memorial Trust Fund through minatrustfund.ca or mail a cheque to 6 Esker Dr. Brampton, On. L6Z 3C5.
