Obituary
Passed away at her residence on Sandhurst Shores on Monday, November 30, 2020. Flowella Hilda Pearl Akey at age 91. Beloved wife of the late Milton Akey. Dear mother of David (Shirley) of Winchester; Dale (Joan) of Niagara Falls; Dana Akey (Dana) of Bruderheim, Alberta; Patricia Miles of Foxboro; Duane (Judy) of Cannifton and the late Pamela Spafford (late Roger). Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her sister Marion Andrews and by her brother Leonard Reid. The family will receive friends at the HANNAH FUNERAL HOME in Napanee at 123 Dundas Street West on Thursday, December 3 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. (Please RSVP your attendance by calling the funeral home during business hours at 613-354-3341 or emailing to hfslnap@kingston.net for a suggested arrival time, masks and social distancing required, maximum capacity will be regulated by funeral staff). Funeral Service attended by family only will be held at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Sandhurst on Friday, December 4 with interment to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Memorial donations (by cheque or credit card please) to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Diabetes Association would be appreciated.
